Jacobs is out; Ware to start for Giants
Injured New York Giants halfback Brandon Jacobs will miss Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Second-year pro Danny Ware will replace Jacobs in the starting lineup.
Jacobs, who has team highs of 1,002 yards rushing and 12 touchdowns, aggravated his left knee in Sunday's 20-14 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles and did not practice this week.
Ahmad Bradshaw will back up Ware.
Vick house not sold
The house that was the headquarters for Michael Vick's dogfighting operation has again failed to sell at auction after no qualified bidders showed up.
Developer Wilbur Ray Todd Jr. is trying to sell the Surry County (Va.) house, which he bought for $450,000 shortly after Vick was indicted on federal dogfighting conspiracy charges.
