| NFL: N.Y. Giants 16, Philadelphia 13
PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 9 (UPI) -- A 20-yard touchdown catch by Plaxico Burress gave the New York Giants the lead en route to their 16-13 win over the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday.
Burress finished the game with 136 yards on seven catches for the Giants (9-4), who have won consecutive games for the first time since Week 10 of the season.
Eli Manning completed 17 of 31 passes for 219 yards and a touchdown for New York, while Brandon Jacobs ended with 70 rushing yards and two turnovers.
Donovan McNabb returned from an ankle injury to go 20-of-30 passing for 179 yards and a touchdown for the Eagles, who came inches from tying the game when a last second field goal attempt hit the right goal post.
Brian Westbrook also ran for 116 yards and hauled in five passes for 38 yards and a score for the Eagles (5-8), who have dropped three straight.
