A free football clinic and camp for youngsters hosted by Climax native and starting safety for the Super Bowl XLII New York Giants championship team, James Butler, will be conducted Saturday, June 28, at Bainbridge High School.
The clinic and camp will be open to the first 250 youngsters to sign up.
Applications, which are available at the Bainbridge-Decatur County YMCA, should be returned to EDGE 3M Sports & Entertainment, P.O. Box 20254, Atlanta, GA 30327.
Registration deadline is June 13.
The clinic and camp are part of the June 27-28 James Butler Celebrity Charity Weekend, hosted by the James Butler Dream Program, a non-profit initiative that provides programs focusing on mentoring, education and youth leadership.
Saturday evening, Butler and other National Football League (NFL) players will go to the YMCA's Langston-Gray Bowling center and bowl to raise money for his Dream Program.
